PROJECT INTERFACE / THE TRUE CONTRACT

01 / THE CHALLENGE

The problem worth solving.

Creating an agreement in person often involves switching between notes, document editors, and signing tools. An AI draft also needs a structured review process before anyone signs it.

02 / THE SOLUTION

How it comes together.

A responsive Flutter application guides users through intake, drafting, review, and signing. A Django REST API manages accounts, organization profiles, contract state, and encrypted server storage. AI-generated sections remain readable on a tablet rather than arriving as an opaque document blob.

03 / ENGINEERING DECISIONS

The details make the difference.

01

Ask for structured output

The OpenAI Responses API returns structured contract sections so the interface can present a predictable review experience.

02

Treat signing as a lifecycle

Disclaimer acceptance, stylus signatures, and finalization are explicit stages rather than a single submit action.

03

Keep the user responsible for review

The product clearly distinguishes AI-assisted drafting from legal advice and requires people to review the agreement.

04 / WHAT IT DELIVERS

From the idea to the experience.

An implemented contract workflow spanning account setup, guided intake, AI drafting, tablet-readable review, and in-person signing. Generated agreements still require appropriate human and legal review.
